Are you caring for an older adult? Let our trained team connect you with the resources you need throughout your caregiving journey. The Tailored Caregiver Assessment and Referral® (TCARE®) System is an award-winning program specifically designed to support family members who are providing care for relatives who need assistance due to illness or disabilities.

Our TCARE (Tailored Caregiver Assessment and Referral System) is a service available to unpaid caregivers of adults needing care and living in Ohio.

There are local Family Caregiver Support Programs offices throughout the state staffed with caring and knowledgeable people who can help you to:

  • Find local resources/services.
  • Find caregiver support groups and counseling.
  • Receive training on specific caregiving topics.
  • Access respite care if you need a break.
  • Talk through specific issues you are having and gain practical information and caregiving suggestions.
