The following are events throughout the community that may be helpful to caregivers, those with dementia, and those interested in making their communities more dementia-friendly. There are both virtual and live events, some hosted by The Ohio Council for Cognitive Health, and many hosted by our friends and partners in the community. Jessica Luh Kim

Jessica Luh Kim is a consultant, educator, and Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach with over 20 years of experience in aging services, long-term care, and culture change. She is the founder of JLK Consulting & Coaching Services and a Core Consulting Team member at Global Learning Partners. Named a 2022 Walk With Me Trailblazer for her contributions to advancing culture change in aging, Jessica brings both professional expertise and her own experience as a family care partner to this work. She is co-creator of the StrengthsSHIFT™ framework alongside Mary Beth Wighton.

Mary Beth Wighton
Partner; JLK Consulting & Coaching Services
Mary Beth Wighton is a dementia advocate, author, and lived experience facilitator who has been living with probable behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia since her diagnosis in 2012 at age 45. A founding member and Chair of the Ontario Dementia Advisory Group and Dementia Advocacy Canada, she has shaped dementia policy at a national level – testifying before the Canadian Standing Senate Committee, contributing to Canada’s first National Dementia Conference, and serving on the inaugural Canadian Ministerial Advisory Board on Dementia. She is the author of Dignity & Dementia: Carpe Diem and co-creator of the StrengthsSHIFT™ framework.
