This September, the Ohio Council for Cognitive Health is highlighting the many communities across Ohio who are navigating dementia and caregiving, and the importance of making information, support, and resources accessible to everyone.
Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories, practical resources, and dementia information in multiple languages.
Their stories offer a closer look at the experiences of families who have navigated displacement, resettlement, and the challenges of caring for a parent living with dementia. They also invite us to consider how cultural beliefs and family traditions can influence the caregiving journey.
Because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to dementia care.
We invite you to follow along throughout September, learn from the experiences of Ohio’s diverse communities, and share these resources with someone who may benefit from them.
