The following are events throughout the community that may be helpful to caregivers, those with dementia, and those interested in making their communities more dementia-friendly. There are both virtual and live events, some hosted by The Ohio Council for Cognitive Health, and many hosted by our friends and partners in the community. Part of the Fall 2026 Series: Navigating Dementia Care Challenges: Practical Tools for Supporting Adults with IDD

This Project ECHO series is a free, case-based education program for health care and human service providers seeking to strengthen their skills in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities affected by dementia. Each session features a brief expert presentation, a participant-submitted case and a facilitated group discussion focused on shared learning and practical application.
